EXT325 - Replacement Front Centre Seat - Defender up to 2007 - By Exmoor Trim

Front Centre Seat from Exmoor Trim.

The seat base is removable to allow access to the inspection plate under the seat.

The seat fits to the existing mounting points. 

We recommend a static lap belt such as EXT001-1. Seat belts are not supplied with the seat.

This seat will fit all Series 2 & 3 Land Rovers and all Defenders pre 2007.

 
The seat is supplied as a direct replacement part and is only recommended for vehicles that were supplied factory fitted with a centre seat. 

Because of the seats location in the vehicle, directly over the transmission tunnel, it is impossible to get safety certification for this seat. 

Land Rover designed it as an 'Occasional Use' seat and it has never been tested or certified by the original manufacture or Exmoor Trim.

 
Please keep this in mind if you are intending to fit this seat to a vehicle that did not have a centre seat as standard.  We recommend talking to your MOT test centre before fitting.

 
PLEASE NOTE: The centre seat was designed for earlier Defenders built before 2007.

It is important to clearly understand that the Puma (post 2007) was NOT designed to have a centre seat and if fitted to the standard seat mounting points the High/Low gear shift will press against the front edge of the seat making it unusable.
