About LR Parts
LR Centre Ltd, a family run business started over 40 years ago by Bernie and Colette Morris; although the original idea was to supply parts for family, friends and a few local enthusiasts it's fair to say that remit has changed. LR Centre Ltd grew organically in the 1970s and word soon spread meaning that Bernie couldn't fit all of the stock he carried in the family home. Merseyside Land Rover, as it was then known, moved into a unit in Speke, Liverpool. Over the counter local sales continued to flourish and due to large export orders it wasn’t long before more space was needed. The company was rebranded as LR Supermarket in 1994 to coincide with the opening of the world's first walk-around shop specifically for Land Rovers and Range Rovers.
The mail order arm of the business went from strength to strength with the introduction of the internet. LR Centre Ltd has continued to see a sharp rise in mail orders, especially following new website launches in 2009 and then again in 2012. LR Centre are hoping that after going live with their 5th website in 2018 they will keep the company at the forefront of the Land Rover community. With over 200,000 items listed on the website, we have everything from the smallest washer to galvanised chassis.
LR Centre Ltd, lead by Managing Director Neill Melia, strive to offer the best possible service, with the greatest of care taken to ensure the customer receives the greatest product at the lowest price. Our parts staff have decades of experience working within the Land Rover industry and our commitment to knowing about the very latest products helps LR Centre Ltd to have the right knowledge whether you own a 1960s vehicle you are restoring or a brand new Range Rover vehicle that needs a few accessories to finish the look. Bernie was the original Land Rover enthusiast, owning every conceivable vehicle; from the Forward Control 101 through all Series marques. Even today he can't shake off the pull of a Land Rover owning a 2018 Discovery Sport. This enthusiasm for Land Rovers continues at LR Centre Ltd even after Bernie has taken a back seat, allowing his two sons, James and Paul, to join Neill and the 30-plus staff at LR Centre in serving the next generation of Land Rover and Range Rover owners.
