Fixed side step are a popular upgrade choice, assisting access into and exit from the vehicle, as well as providing a rugged, off-road style to the vehicle. The steps are Satin Black aluminium tube, with cast metal steps with a Silver finish and a black moulded rubber mat. They have the iconic Land Rover Defender chequer design embossed in the rubber to complement the chequer accent on the bonnet. With one step on each side the Land Rover Defender 90 has a maximum load capacity of 270kg each side of the vehicle. For 90 only. 90 features one step pad on each side. Not compatible with bright side tubes. Fitting of side steps may affect the off-road capability of the vehicle.
PLEASE NOTE that the use of Traffic Film Remover (TFR) on our side steps may cause damage to the paint finish if not used properly. TFR is a powerful cleaning agent that can potentially lead to paint discoloration, stripping of protective coatings, etching, bubbling and damage to the clear coat. Additionally, prolonged exposure or using TFR in concentrated form may cause degradation of plastic or rubber components. Therefore, we strongly advise caution when using TFR on our side steps. It is essential to follow the manufacturer's instructions, dilute the TFR properly, conduct a spot test on an inconspicuous area, and thoroughly rinse the side steps after application. Please be aware that the use of TFR on our side steps will void the 12-month warranty, as any damage resulting from its usage is not covered. To ensure the longevity and appearance of our product, we recommend utilizing appropriate cleaning methods and protective measures.
