The Land Rover Discovery 3 and 4 is a capable off-roader, but to gain optimal performance in extreme conditions you need a snorkel. That’s why the team at Mantec and Terrafirma have co-designed the Land Rover Discovery 3 & 4 snorkel, to give Land Rover drivers exceptional performance and reliability. The Land Rover Discovery Snorkel Kit includes a fully integrated air pipe that fits alongside the Land Rover air intake system - allowing your engine to take massive amounts of clean air directly from the roof. This improved airflow will give you more power, smoother acceleration and improved fuel efficiency - no matter what terrain you are tackling. With Terrafirma on your side, Land Rover owners can go further with confidence.
Terrafirma raised air intake or ‘snorkel’ suitable for Land Rover Discovery 3 and 4 2004 – 2016 fitted with 2.7 & 3.0tdv6 and 4.0, 4.4 & 5.0 petrol engines.
This snorkel is in the Mantec Design and is exclusive to Terrafirma.
It has been manufactured from extremely durable, rotational moulded, impact resistant LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene). The material is ideally suited to the application as it will not dis colour and is UV & temperature stable.
The Terrafirma raised air intake incorporates a modern styling & aerodynamic features and fits the body contours perfectly and doesn’t obscure the drivers view - this mimics the Genuine Land Rover raised air intake at a fraction of the price. The low noise ‘clean air’ intake draws air from the highest point of the vehicle through removable steel vents.
Suitable for competent DIY and workshop fitment.
