FRONT DOOR TOP FULL GLAZING KIT FOR SERIES 2/3 Series 2/2a/3 Front Door tops from 1958-1984 (Fits both LH and RH door tops)
This will not fit the extruded aluminium door tops as fitted to early Defender and military defenders
It even includes the rubber seal that goes upright on the sliding piece of glass that seals the 2 glass panes as they slide to stop that draft! The curved aluminium piece that clamps this onto the glass is also included. The channel itself is cut to the right length to fit your door top and the longer piece has the hole punched out to allow the plastic sliding latch to pop through. No other channel comes with this feature. With other channel on the market you have cut this out yourself which very rarely ends up with a neat result! These are used to glaze brand new door tops so they are top quality and a perfect fit. All made in the UK. Usually the glass in your old door top is still very unusable but this is what makes new glazed door tops a lot more expensive than unglazed units. Buying our new door tops and this fitting kit gives you an “out of the factory” end result.
Reagrding the aluminium spacers, pease note these items are made in a press as original. As such and because these are bare metal parts they come with witness marks from where the aluminium is drawn into the press. This is normal and doesn not effect fit or functionality.
