The Nakatanenga Defender LED Interior light is a plug and play interior light which fits perfectly in the original Land Rover base. It is switchable between white and red and is available in cool white or warm white.
LEDs are popular not only in headlights and signal lights, but also for the interior of the vehicle because of their light efficiency, low power consumption, high vibration resistance and long life. For this reason, Nakatanenga have worked with a renowned automotive supplier to develop an LED interior light for the Land Rover Defender.
The Nakatanenga Defender LED interior light is a simple “plug and play replacement” for the existing interior lighting (front or rear). If you want to convert both lamps in Defender, please order TWO The lid and the bulbs of the previous lamp (AMR3155) are removed, and the adapter, the LED board and the new cover with switch replace them- that’s it, the tool-free installation is done in 5 minutes!
All previous functions of the interior light (on / off / door circuit) are retained, in addition it can be converted to red light using the red button, this appears is less intrusive at night and does not affect your night vision.
Since some customers feel the cold white light of the “typical” LEDs is too harsh, we also offer a warm white (slightly more yellowish) variant.
Unlike other solutions on the market, the OEM optics of light remains. The lamp is suitable for replacing the front and the rear original lamp.
