Introducing the Ashcroft Pegged Rover Diff Housing – designed to make life easier and improve longevity of your vehicle. Historically, making a pegged housing required welding two steel plates onto a standard Rover differential, then drilling, tapping, and spot facing two threads. Thankfully, Ashcroft has taken engineering one step further with this innovate offering.
This Pegged Rover Diff Housing is far advanced from before and the additional external material has allowed for driving and tapping two threads to peg the housing – an advanced engineering design that reduces time and effort without compromising strength or integrity. With new journal end cap bolts and roll pins included to secure side adjuster nuts, you can conquer even the toughest terrain with confidence in your vehicle.
Whether you’re tackling urban adventures or venturing off-road, enlist a differential housing built to hold up over time – The Ashcroft Pegged Rover Diff Housing! This is the later design that utilizes 2 dowels to securely locate each end cap and perfect for Defender 90s without comprising performance.
Please note this product is the Rover, long nose differential housing used in the Defender 90, Disco I, Disco II and Defender 110 front axles.
Please note the side adjuster nuts are not included
Please note that your diff centre outside diameter will need to be turned down to 162mm so that it clears the bronze pad.
