Supplied as a complete four-injector set, allowing all cylinders to be replaced together where required.

Why Might the Injectors Need Replacing?

The injectors in the Defender's common-rail diesel system must deliver a precisely controlled quantity of fuel at the correct time. As an injector wears or develops a fault, its ability to deliver fuel accurately can deteriorate.

Possible symptoms of injector problems can include:

  • difficult or poor starting

  • rough or uneven idle

  • engine misfire

  • loss of power or poor performance

  • excessive exhaust smoke

  • increased fuel consumption

  • engine-management faults relating to fuelling or injector performance

These symptoms can also be caused by other fuel-system or engine faults, so suitable diagnosis should be carried out before replacing the injectors.

Denso OEM Quality

These are Denso-manufactured OEM injectors, rather than an unbranded aftermarket alternative.

Denso is a major manufacturer of common-rail diesel injection equipment, and its common-rail injectors are designed to control both the quantity and timing of fuel delivered to each cylinder with very high precision.

Important Installation Information

Common-rail diesel fuel systems operate to extremely fine tolerances, so cleanliness during installation is essential. Fuel-system connections should be protected from contamination while the injectors are being replaced and the included o ring / seals and associated components should be renewed in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's workshop procedure.

Injector Coding

Replacement common-rail injectors will require their individual correction/calibration codes to be programmed into the engine management system after installation.

We recommend checking the Land Rover diagnostic procedure for the vehicle and ensuring any required injector coding is carried out using suitable diagnostic equipment after fitting.

Delivery

Fast, reliable delivery is an important part of the service we provide, which is why approximately 99% of LR Parts orders are shipped with DHL.UK Delivery – £5 + VAT

We offer a simple flat UK delivery rate of just £5 + VAT, calculated automatically at checkout.

The actual cost to us of using DHL is often higher than the amount we charge our customers, but we've deliberately chosen to subsidise the difference rather than move to a cheaper delivery service.

With around 1,800–2,000 orders leaving LR Parts every week, we know how important the final stage of an order is. Whether you've ordered a small service part or an expensive component needed to get your Land Rover back on the road, we want it travelling through a delivery network we trust.

That's why DHL is our first choice rather than simply the cheapest option.

Where an individual product carries an additional delivery surcharge due to its size, weight or handling requirements, this is clearly shown on the product page before you order.

International Delivery – No Unexpected Charges on Arrival

LR Parts supplied customers in 158 countries in the last 12 months, and we work with Global-e to make ordering from outside the UK as straightforward as possible.

For international online orders, your delivery charge, applicable local taxes and import duties are calculated during checkout and paid as part of your order.

This means you can see the total landed cost before you buy.

There are no additional customs duties or taxes to pay when your order arrives.

Your order is still picked and packed by our team in Liverpool, with the vast majority of international shipments travelling through DHL's worldwide delivery network.

Simply add your parts to the basket, select your destination and the checkout will calculate the applicable delivery, duties and taxes for you.
