Product Information

This is a full kit for the striker and latch assembly on the Land Rover Defender's front left and right hand door. This style of latch was fitted on all Defender's from 1986 through to 2016 when production ceased - it is on all push button style doors.

The kit also includes the best solution to not only protecting your trousers but in many cases it making the door close more reliably and helps (though it does not entirely stop) the seat belt getting caught in the latch. If the seat belt does become caught as you close the door, it suffers less damage due to the smooth profile of the X-Trouser.

The X-Trouser has a smooth profile, if your belt loop or pocket runs over it, it will slide off freely. Made from high quality 304 grade stainless steel. The X-Trouser catch is reversible so it will fit both the driver and passenger doors, left & right hand drive. It will also fit the rear side doors of 110 Station Wagons.

This kit comes with all fixtures and fittings needed to fit to your Defender including extra packing shims to ensure the correct fitment.
