Defender Rear Right Hand Side Door Seal - Superseded from ALR4938 > CFE103320 > CFE103000 > CFE103001 > LR024956 > LR037348 > LR038749 > LR044309 > LR077684
This door seal will fit any year of original Defender from 1983 through to the end of production in 2016. This door seal is for the rear Right Hand door on the Land Rover Defender and will fit all station wagon 110 and 130 variants.
If your Defender door seal is faulty then you may find leaks, drafts, and water getting inside the vehicle which can be very common. You may also find it difficult to shut your Defender door - possibly due to a riped door seal getting in the way.
Here are a few of the issues you may find if you have a faulty Defender door seal:
- Water or moisture inside the car when it rains or after washing the car.
- A whistling noise or draft coming from the door when driving at high speeds.
- A musty smell in the car, indicating the presence of mold or mildew.
- Damage or cracks in the seal, or gaps in the seal allowing air and water to enter the car.
If you are experiencing any of these issues then please inspect your door seal as it will probably need to be replaced. We offer two different options for this right hand reear door seal, an aftermarket seal which is generally produced by Britpart and the more expensive Genuine Land Rover option. We have sold thousands of both items so can really atest to the quality of both items. I know the more expensive genuine Land Rover item is
Replacing a rear Defender right hand door seal is not be a particularly tasking and only a little mechanical knowledge is needed to fit.
