The Coolair Logan LRC10509 high-performance air-conditioning condenser is a direct-fit upgraded replacement for Land Rover part number LR025985.
Designed specifically as an improvement over the original Defender condenser assembly, it combines a modern parallel-flow aluminium condenser, improved corrosion protection and a compact IP68-rated 225mm condenser fan while retaining the original mounting points and air-conditioning pipe connections.
No modification to the existing A/C pipework is required.

LRC10509 has been developed as a drop-in performance replacement for LR025985, retaining the original installation layout while improving both cooling efficiency and resistance to corrosion.
The original-style condenser can therefore be replaced without redesigning the vehicle's air-conditioning system or modifying the refrigerant pipework.
The Coolair Logan condenser uses a modern parallel-flow aluminium coil.
This design allows refrigerant to flow through multiple passages across the condenser, improving heat transfer and producing a more uniform condensing process during operation.
The result is improved condenser efficiency compared with the conventional original-style design.
The upgraded condenser uses a smaller but powerful 225mm IP68-rated electric fan.
Despite its more compact dimensions, the fan provides the airflow required by the high-efficiency condenser and is supplied ready to connect to the Defender's existing wiring harness.
Its IP68 rating also provides a high level of protection against dust and water ingress, making it well suited to the conditions in which Defenders are frequently used.
Particular attention has been paid to corrosion protection throughout the condenser assembly.
The aluminium condenser receives an anti-corrosion treatment, while the new steel box-section mounting frame is finished using a black E-Coat process.
E-Coating provides a durable and uniform protective finish with excellent corrosion and chemical resistance, making it particularly suitable for components mounted at the front of a vehicle where they are exposed to water, road dirt and salt.
The complete condenser assembly is finished in black to retain the understated appearance of the original installation behind the Defender grille.
Black fixings are also used throughout, allowing the upgraded condenser to provide improved performance and durability without looking out of place in the vehicle.
LRC10509 has been designed around the dimensions and mounting arrangement of the original LR025985 condenser.
