Fits:– All Larger Diameter shock absorbers and Steering Dampers up to 80mm diameter
Heat Shrink Diameter:- 80mm
Heat Shrink Length:- 800mm
Please note this is the EXTRA LARGE 80mm Heat Shrink, if you want the normal 60mm standard one - GL1249
A known problem with shock absorbers is stones chipping the paint off causing the shock to rust, especially the rear shocks as stones from the front tyres get flung to the shock absorbers.
By using this heat shrink you will be protecting the shock absorber as the stones will now be able to bounce off the shock absorber, not causing the paint to chip.
One 800mm length is enough to do 2 shock absorbers.
Can also be used on Steering Dampers.
The maximum diameter for the Heat Shrink is 80mm.

When heating the heat shrink do it nice and slow you will get a more even finish.
