The Premium Puma Defender Front Seat was Land Rover’s Upgrade Option for the TDCi came that came into production in 2013
The Premium Puma front seats offered the driver and passengers increased comfort level and styling with the seat base remaining the same with some nice trim detail and the seat back being raised to accommodate the taller driver as a modular design and improved upper body support. The headrest changed shape to an integral Modular shape offering a more sporty over all look and flowing shape.
The seat squab can be adjusted to any angle, with the ability to tailor the rake of the seat back to the individual with additional rear pockets for storage as standard.
These seats have high quality seat sliders and runners they can easily be moved forward and backwards with a simple lift arm under the front of the seat cushion as you expect to find in most vehicles of this era.
To compliment this the seat basses are also removable and simply located into the rear of the seat frame and then snap locked into the front of the seat runners making it easy to access the under seat storage compartment and battery location.
The replacement Premium Puma seats by Exmoor is offered in pairs only, complete with sliders/runners as a bolt straight in pair of seats which utilise the original four mounting points in the seat box.
This Premium Puma style seat stayed in production from approx 2013 right through until 2016 when the production of the Defender came to an end.
Production seats were offered with internal seat heaters, so at Exmoor they have decided to heat all their Premium Puma Defender front seat pairs as standard fitment.
Both seat backs and bases are heated internally and the heater wiring all clips together so you can still remove the seat bases when required. Many of the earlier vehicles never had seat heaters fitted so we also include with all our Puma Defender seats as standard a full wiring loom for the seat heaters. These also include illuminating heater switches so you can control both seats individually with a hi & low heat option and the wiring loom includes the inline fuses.
They include a pair of adaption leads which means if your vehicle already has factory fitted heaters for the seats (known as winterisation pack) then the seats loom will plug directly into your vehicle without additional wiring required.
They use a higher grade foam than originally used to increase the life span of these seats and much improved levels of comfort. All coming together to give a great stylish pair of Premium Puma Style seats by Exmoor.
As with all Exmoor Trim front seats these use their new Puma seat frame and are issued with full testing certificate to keep with your log book. Don’t settle for less, safety matters.
APPROVED by the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA). Impact tested (Millbrook Testing Ground). Approved worldwide and certification supplied with every seat.
