OREs first product launched in 2017 and now a trusted choice for Land Rover owners worldwide. Made from robust 6mm steel, this black powder-coated steering guard delivers serious protection for off-road use and peace of mind when tackling tough terrain.

Unlike aluminium alternatives, which can bend under pressure, OREs steel construction withstands real-world impacts and even allows jacking directly from the guard. The OREsome black powder coating system, tested to 1000 hours of salt spray corrosion, ensures long-lasting durability; resisting rust, bubbling, and peeling even if scratched or scuffed.

Functional design sets this steering guard apart. Precision laser-cut drainage holes prevent mud and water from being forced into the engine bay or radiator when reversing; an issue common with solid-plate designs. The guard also includes two integrated recovery points, ideal for bow shackles or winch recovery setups.

Made in the UK to exacting tolerances, each guard comes complete with a stainless steel fixing kit, including replacements for often-corroded factory mounting bolts. Compatible with all Land Rover Defender models from 1983 to 2016. A serious upgrade for any Defender enthusiast.
