Product Information
Fits all Land Rover Defender, Discovery and Range Rover Diesel models fitted with 230 type transfer case. It doesn't fit Puma Defenders.
Billet transfer case sump oil coolers are designed to replace the flimsy sump covers supplied as standard equipment. These covers are stronger than the originals and have cooling fins to keep the oil in your transfer case cool in harsh conditions. The sump cover is supplied with a new gasket, and the existing bolts are used for installation.
The sump cover is significantly stronger than the original and adds about 1/2 litre to oil capacity. Existing ground clearance is not compromised. A plugged port is supplier so that DA1285 oil temperature gauge can be fitted. It is possible to fit this sump cover to V8 models but check first that there is good clearance between the cover and existing exhaust pipes.
