Made from metal like the original this new Puma bonnet is half the weight of the original Land Rover bonnets and will fit Defender 90 - 1984 onwards/Defender 110 -1983 onwards. NOTE : These are unfinished – meaning they require some filling, primer and top coats of paint.
This style of bonnet (or hood for our North American customers) was originally designed for the Land Rover Defender Puma model, which was a variant produced from 2007 to 2016. The Puma bonnet is made of pressed steel.
In addition the Puma bonnet has a distinctive appearance - This really sets it apart from the earlier Defender models and it's fair to say that most customers prefer the clamshell look of the Puma bonnet for this reason.
Please note that this Puma bonnet is compatible with all Defender models. Whilst specifically designed for use with the Defender Puma model it will fit and function perfectly on other Defender models.
