EGR valve blanking kit for Discovery 3 & Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6
Lifetime warranty
This kit is suitable for 2.7 TDV6 models VIN number 5A and 6A. The kit will fit later cars, but VIN 7A onward cars will require ECU programming to stop the fault light illuminating
The kit consists of 2 x CNC milled billet aluminium inlet blank plates, 2 x laser cut stainless steel exhaust blanking plates and 2 x sealing Viton O rings
Supplied complete with fitting instructions
Fitting this kit will NOT affect the MOT
Blanking the EGR can also be beneficial to resolve the common problems associated with faulty EGR valves
Removal of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is widely recognised as a simple and effective method of improving the efficiency of a turbo diesel engine
The EGR system allows hot, used gases back into the engine and can cause excessive black smoke and lack of power
Cool air is fundamental for efficient, clean combustion and power!
Our EGR bypass system not only stops the hot, second – hand air entering the engine, but also removes the restriction caused by the original EGR set up, which particularly on later engines is considerable
Original manufacturers replacement EGR valves are expensive and likely to fail again.
