Uprated high flow intercooler designed specifically for Discovery 4, and Range Rover Sport 3.0 SDV6 twin turbo. Lifetime warranty. Designed and built in house by AlliSport Ltd using our new L.I.F.T (Louvred Internal Fin Technology) high performance core for maximum heat rejection. Also available as a package with 4 ply silicone boost hose set. Designed as a direct replacement for original intercooler with crimped plastic end tanks.Manufactured using our 62mm deep core to replace the 40mm thick original equipment item. Constructed with laser cut and CNC folded aluminium end tanks and fully TIG welded by hand in house. Pressure tested to 3 bar prior to despatch. The increased cooling capacity together with the appropriate electronic tuning allows improved throttle response and increased performance with an improvement in fuel economy and reduced cylinder head thermal stress. We recommend ECU remapping to optimise fuelling to see best results from this intercooler upgrade. The ECU currently requires opening to unlock for programming but OBD mapping will soon be available. Thermal stress is actually reduced as the EGT or combustion temperature is reduced and higher oxygen content improves combustion. Our atmosphere controlled core construction, high efficiency fin design allows air to flow through to water radiator so coolant temperatures are not affected.
